The reasons for this are simple. Religion likes to tell you that you are saved by what you do in light of the law, and you can even recognize jesus and the hebrew bible in your religion, but the moment you tell people they have to keep the law to be saved (which is impossible for anyone save for God himself to do.) you are officially a judaized version of what ever gentile belief system you have. Religion says you have to work to get to what ever version of heaven that particular belief system says it is.
