The thing is split into multiple files, one is an audio bank ( File format with a lot of information online, can rendre them easily, consider those almost fully reverse-engineered ), the archive is literally just the audio files stitched together, there's the headers and everything, nothing has been added or cut
One is a script file that tells the game when and where does X, Y or Z file is gonna play
And the last is an index file, which tells the script file where is everything, and in which category they are
I can send you some of my personal observations i made on these, but this is a tool i'd love to see because nobody in the NFS community ha the technically knowledge and interest to tackle this shit
I know for a fact that this system is used in multiple EA games from that era, so there is a lot of research material to check for
