Destiny has some incredibly based takes, and while I only agree with like 50% of his political views, I can usually figure out the framework he's building and give good-faith consideration to his argument.
This new narrative he's pushing is bizarre. It feels like some kind of new, half-assed Destiny-lite. Essentially, the position is "any and all Trump supporters, no matter how big or small, informed or uninformed, are by-proxy insurrectionists, and thus any and all deaths of these individuals is desirable for society".
Regardless of what metric is used to evaluate this position (genuine belief, trolling, click-bait, etc.), it's definitely a shitty, low-effort arc:
If it's genuine, it's fucking retarded Marvel-tier Thanos shit, from a guy who shits on Vaush for deriving morals from Marvel movies.
If it's trolling, it's annoying, ego-centric noise during one of the most political insane and interesting events since 9/11.
If it's click-bait, it's a surprising quality drop-off and cash-out, slaughtering a golden goose before it's laid any eggs.
