>>20784502sorry, they'd given up with having her daughter take islam seriously before meeting me (they tried to set her up on arranged dates for marriage, but she shot them all down). so they've never really 'tried' to convert me. it's been brought up in conversation sure, but shot down again. her father is the more laid back of the two actually, it's the mother who's overly invested in my gf's romantic relationship (like any mother, i guess). it's all a bit weird, and an interesting experience, but again, the mother has pretty much conceded that her daughter isn't a 'true' muslim. i guess it's like those people who say they're christian but don't actually go to church or anything.
