as for the genres I like moe, more grownup comedy, mistery I guess... not really in shounen anymore desu; but like, also, the last anime I (re)watched that was hella gloomy was Steins;gate (which isn't all that much gloom and doom) but even still I think it takes itself too seriously sometimes
