>>20793938Good way to describe it. I compare it to demonic possession. Certain states of hysteria feel like having your body taken over by a foreign entity. All cognitive processes go out the window and your body becomes overwhelmed by the fight or flight response.
The worst is when one happens in public, like when you are working under stress. It feels like being compressed slowly into a box; like the whole world is caving in around you, creeping in steadily, suffocatingly, consuming you. You try to stay calm and breathe slowly but you can’t because your heart is beating at 167 bpm and you literally begin hyperventilating.
It’s a horrible experience.
