>>20811198I was working in one of the "essential"services" at the time and it was pretty cool to be able to get a no questions asked pass when just walking about during the lockdowns just with the quick flash of an employee id. one time me and some of the lads from work decided to have a BBQ in the park, when a cop pulled up and asked what we're doing. we quickly flashed our employee ids, and said we were just out on a lunch break, I guess he didn't notice that half of were drinking alcohol, and then he just nodded his head, said all good, and then just walked of to go assault some poor old nana at the other end of the park walking her dog too close to a middle-class white woman with a bad attitude. we did this for about 2 weeks straight and the 2 coppers patrolling the park said and did nothing, preferring to just write exorbitant fine for people walking their dogs too close together. the only reason we stopped was because we bored of having steak sandwiches and snags everyday.
