what one culture thinks, and what another culture thinks, can be polar fucking opposites. that doesn't mean we should kill each other, it just means we disagree.
now, in circumstances like this, it means we shouldn't be friends, yeah. we should be acquaintances when the need arises. procreation and love between individuals are as far as it should go, we shouldn't tell men to universally respect women because, what, they deserve it? for being women?
