And (aside from the "Q Continuum"), why is it the Andorians? They are honorable, sentimental, idealists, mercurial & quirky, loyal, suspicious, just, kind & warriors all in one. Like humans, but better. Star Trek: Enterprise did a great job developing their backstory. They get my vote.
