still on a skylake i5 here, the 6500. does fine for my needs but I do ponder if it is worth updating. I literally do not care for modern gaming though. Just let me do my autismo map games and some emulators and I'm fine.

I want to build and AMD system but i keep hearing nightmare stories about having to sit and manually install 1000 different drivers over USB to your motherboard before it will even boot into windows

Intel historically just works out of the box

Tons of reports of AMD motherboards needing clean installs of EVERYTHING and you having to go to the manufacturers site and download shit over USB for hours to even get the thing to boot

Don’t listen to intel Jewish lies I have a 5600x and a 6700xt. If you uninstall your gayvidia drivers properly you won’t have any issues also cpu worked out of the box because most motherboards have to right updates for am4 already :DD
