It's actually a really good game. When I played Dark Souls for the first time I had no idea it was so popular and I got completely addicted, even more so when I started NG+. Dark souls is fucking awesome

As a gaming fanatic of almost 50 years I have played thousands of games and I don't like Dark Souls design much I appreciate the graphic design but the gameplay feels too clunky and the animations are weird. It just isn't good.

I guess what I should say is I don't have a problem with the quality of the animations from a presentation standard it's just how they mess up the gameplay I mean it's not terrible but its not great

you could always argue that how a game controls and feels in terms of its combat are all subjective

nothing new interests me that much I wish there were more games like half life dark souls or fallout new vegas
