What would you define as hell? What degree of suffering? It seems to me like all of the worst things men imagine in hell, are from earth. But heaven is an earthly concept too.
Fiction in movies and TV might have given you the wrong idea about black magic. If you expect to cast a spell and have your enemy drop dead of a freak accident the next day, you might be getting a bit too ambitious.
If you want reality to change, you should look for easier paths to change. Where does the chaos have power? If you want physical violence to happen to someone, you have a body for that. Since egregores of demons and dark spirits are psychic, you shouldn't expect physical attacks from psychic entities.
