I sympathize. This has happened to me on multiple occasions at Safeway. Why even have the button if your bullshit contraptions are going to summon the wagie every time anyway. Why don't I just show my bags to the wagie right away instead of going through this routine. It was better when you could actually get plastic bags. They don't offer those anymore because muh environment.
