There are plenty of very successful people who don't get TV time who have done dumb shit in the past, including people who went through hard times. You're also letting other people's words and carelessness beat you. I know that's unfair, but that's the truth. Instead of you taking the lesson on how to treat others, and using that to move on, you've let their dumbshit win.
Ultimately, only you and God can sort this, and that's where Jesus is mediator. But I think you'd be making a mistake, and figuring that out as you are already on the drop to a broken neck, would be tragic.
