League is like a dispenser where you press a button and get a cookie. You are like, "yay, cookie!" And keep pressing buttons and getting more cookies. Eventually, on one of these presses you get a steaming pile of poo instead of a cookie. You are confused and upset a bit but keep pressing the button because that was an outlier. Eventually more and more poo is dispensed rather than cookies, until you're at the point where you're pressing the button desperately trying to get a cookie when all you get is shit.
