Do you think troubled people are more creative? Or maybe they are the ones that get the most out of arts.
For example with Japanese authors. Ozamu dazais idol was Akutagawa. He killed himself. Eventually Ozamu dazai killed himself as well. Lots of western artists have killed himselves as well. Vincent van gogh killed himself. Ernest hemingway.
A lot of great authors, artists, musicians seem to be miserable.
