I am unemployed and low IQ but I'm interested in the Japanese market plunge and how no less than a 100$ billion dollars were wiped off Nasdaq and the stock market. Giants of software tech companies like Google, Amazon, as well as hardware like Intel were specially hit hard by this downturn.

I am a NEET whose been enjoying life as it is since I graduated high school in 2016. I'm happy and I'm doing great. But I'm wondering if things will change.

People say that this stock market downturn occurred because the AI revolution didn't meet the expectations and projections.
Others say it's because of inflation in Japan and the world in general.
Others claim it's crypto tanking.

Claims about the near future are already being made. Like Gold prices souring.
a new American or global recession about as bad or worse than 2008.
Others think it will be as bad as 1926 American great depression or even worse.
Some think it's going to result in upcoming inflation.

whatever the reason for all of this, I will tell you that I don't think the instability in the middle east region is behind this. I don't think the Iranian threat is the reason behind this or the of middle east oil and gas shipments being disturbed and it's not because Yemen has been attacking zionist affiliated ships.

I'm low IQ so help me out here. What is going on here? why did this crash/downturn happen and what will happen in the near future?
