I tried deactivating my facebook because I'm tired of the autistic shit my ultra-conservative extended family posts, but my mother and father just didn't stop texting me on my phone and whatsapp to re-open it and stay connected to the "only people who will give a shit about you" or whatever.
They didn't care about my younger brothers leaving passive-aggressive messages and posts insulting arabs and muslims ever since I moved here because they secretly agree with them, I know that they want to slowly convince me to move out of here and back to the US. Hell, they voted for Trump just to spite me, even though they voted for both Bill Clinton and Obama twice.
