In the original HL you could get as many of them as you find. It doesn't really matter because they're rare and as you said, they'll stop following eventually. The only place it was noticeable was Office Complex, where you could get a small army of them by the end of the level. Then Valve patched it out so you can only take 2 with you at most and Office Complex lost a little of its fun.

enjoy the music and the atmosphere, it's what they kinda put most of the budget into, just scenes and backgrounds and shit. enjoy your new armor, too. this version of the HEV is more fun to me cause it gives callouts more.

i bought it ages ago but im only just now playing it. i wanted to play hl1 again but with better graphics physics and lighting
it's much darker and spookier like i always thought the original should have been
source+havok engine works together very nicely
