men and women should be represented by the colors black and white, (this has nothing to do with race)
white and black exist as opposites to eachother. pink and blue do not symmetrize, they are not opposites of each other, therefore it makes no sense.
men and women are usually equal halfs of the population, therefore one should be represented as a half of one gradient of the black white spectrum, and the other vice versa.
I don't know whether men should be black nor white, or what color women should be, but the point is that the pink-blue dichotomy is stupid.
perhaps it should represented as one color, one darker and one lighter? or perhaps we should organize by RGB, they are the primary colors, no? anyway, we have women be red, people who arent men nor women as green, and men as blue, hey wait, thats kind of like the pink-blue scheme we have already?
