Nose piercing is modern art filed under body modification. Which itself is misleading because rather than modifying the body such as someone who goes to the gym and doesn't eat a diet composed of 100% garbage, they just destroy or deface their bodies. Especially the face. Again, this is assault on civil society. It is an affront the virtue of all who value beauty, health, and presentability. You know which word is a synonym for "presentable"? Tolerable. It's just asking for the bare minimum, which these freaks not only fall short of, but manage to step all over. That is the very intend in doing such things to one's face. It is an act of self hatred and it is a big "Fuck you" to every single person who has to look at you. It's quite apparent that this trend is rooted in a rudderless sense of rebellion at the expectations one feels that society places on them. In this case, they are right. People do expect you to not look like a heroin addict as part and parcel of civil discourse where we share a community. Why do you want everyone who sees you to assume you're going to ask them for spare change, which they are already prepared to deny you because the also assume you're going to spend it on drugs or that you're just saving up for another tattoo which costs hundreds of dollars? Who the fuck is paying for your tattoos while you live on the streets, anyway?
