Milk:

Eggs:

Loofah is extremely easy to grow and produces a useful scrubber. It is a vine so it needs space to climb but I recommend it as a beginner plant.

Fig trees are probably the easiest fruit tree to grow long term and I think every one who can should have a few. They are extremely low maintenance, not too picky about soil and pay dividends over a long period of time.
Make sure they grow well in your region and have at it. As for other fruit trees, this will depend on where you are. I live in peach country and have many peach trees, blackberries, blueberries, muscadines, paw paw growing on my property. Apples are a pain in the ass here but do better in the piedmont/upcountry where peaches don't grow for shit.
