Compasses point north not south, if you go far enough south your compass will not work.
This is because at the North Pole is a giant magnetic mountain called Rupes Nigra or Mt. Maru. Also likely a HOLE there as well. The electromagnetic toroidal field of the Earth (which is a flat disk) flows through there. This is where high and low tides come from as well.
Antartica is not a continent but a giant ice ring.
You can see the mountain here. Sometimes the wind blows around it, sometimes the wind sucks in or out, like the toroidal field is going from positive to negative.

The earth is a globe with openings at both poles like most other planets
When scientists enter the parameters of our speed, size, etc the globe with a 500 mile crust is the only one that doesn’t fall apart
