There's a whole bunch of dialects and even an entire different language (frisian) that is spoken in the Netherlands. The differences aren't that minor either, if someone speaks in proper dialect it can be really hard for the average cunt living in Amsterdam to understand. Dialects are dying out ever since the 20th century however but the accent still persist.
I myself speak with a noticable eastern accent. It's probably considered the most peasantlike accent within my country as well, but I like it. Whenever I travel by train from where I live to where I'm from it's always a pleasure to hear the accent change slowly with every station.
Pic related- It's a map of dialects. It's not even that specific but gives a broad overview. There's even cities, or parts of cities that have their own accent/dialect. My grandmothers sometimes talked about how she could distinghuish the accents between villages only a few kilometers apart from each other.
