>>2108261190% of it is because of how it gets introduced at a young age. most people had traumatic experiences with their teachers and especially parents when learning math so their brains just default to avoid it at all costs. math becomes very easy to learn while on LSD or Mushrooms because of ego death because it bypasses any negative associations with math therefore leaving us most open to learning. try it yourself, it's crazy. I've done experiments on myself doing this trying to learn different things like languages, learning an instrument, and even learning fighting games and it is insane how much more quickly i catch on to things and actually learn and improve.
