cleary most people don't care about it otherwise all these new games would fail
and it's not written in stone that all games should last forever either, it's ok that some games are born out of scam practices, but if that gives players a unique and fun experience that lasts a year or so, that's fine, it's better than the game never having been made in the first place
gamers should just stop talking about the money side of gaming, unless it breaks immersion in the game it's really none our business. Talk about the art, or music, or gameplay etc, leave the money stuff to their accountants
