>>21108391Yes, there are two layers here. Even if I were ideologically right-wing/conservative I could never vote for Trump. His fanbase is a cult and he's basically trying to turn himself into a QAnon emblem. And he's just a sore loser crybaby. But I'm also separately a huge neoliberal and support more weapons to Ukraine and Taiwan etc. so I'm an enthusiastic Democrat voter.
(Of course, if it were simply inevitable that Ukraine would lose most of its territory and they were suffering drastic one-sided losses every day and there was nothing anyone could do about it, then the US should try to negotiate a settlement rather than prolong the war, but they're nowhere near that line and haven't been throughout the war. I believe the US should give them far more than they've given so far.)
