i used to feel similarly for many years.
it's been hard to keep my chin up lately, i have much more work to do than i ever realized & my life really doesn't feel like my own. but i know things might change, and i wouldn't be so arrogant as to give up.
for some reason it makes me feel better to know people can find purpose in things like love for its own sake. a lot of people seem to act as if life is just a videogame lately.
