we use dedicated letters for palatal sounds ex. cz ć ś ź sz
technically some consonants are palatalized with "i" but it's implicit so that notation is not intuitive so i guess it's correct but i think you wouldn't see that outside of romanization of russian/ukrainian/belarussian words, maybe in old poetry if the artist was borrowing a russian word
