Four years ago when I was 14 I had to go to the doctor for an examination and her 12 year old daughter saw me completely naked after my mother signed a consent form for her to spectate after the doctor asked. How do I cope with this?

the law has never been good, it just is what it is.
it does seem unprofessional.
you can't change what happened, though.
you can't get revenge. it wasn't your fault.

if you feel like you need a coping mechanism, you should talk to a therapist about what happened.

It matters because this should have been illegal. My privacy was violated and there was zero reason for the doctor's daughter to be in the room. If I had been a girl my mother and doctor would be rotting in prison.

The doctor wanted the girl to see me naked for education. There was no legal loophole because this is legal in ireland because my mother consented to it and under 16s can't consent or deny things related to medical appointments in Ireland. We don't have the gillick competence law (where under 16s can consent) like the UK does so it was legal.
