If it's a pleasant dream, where everything goes the way i would like it to, it would be the literal equivalent of attaining heaven.
I know it's stupid, my brain would likely freeze to death. but my interpertation of heaven has always been that it's something dreamlike, where everything you wished for came to be. So finding a way to dream forever always felt like the proper step towards reaching it.
