The only viable system that will save the USA (and really any country) is a very strict and strongly enforced social system, with a very libertarian, loose economic structure.

All major violent crime (like violent rape, murder, aggrevated battery/assault, armed robbery, voluntary manslaughter/vehicular manslaughter, child molestation, statutory rape (pre pubescent), arson, etc.) should be automatic death penalty.

Minor violent crime like misdemeanor battery/assault (bar fights), dui/ovi, statutory rape (post pubescent) and vandalism should be a minimum of 3 months in prison, up to 25 years for repeat offenders.

Minor theft/fraud (without violence) should be a minimum 3 months in prison and a maximum of 25 if you're a repeat offender.

Grand theft/fraud (like FTX) should be 25 years in prison minimum, with a maximum of life.

Vagrancy, public intoxication, public indecency/nudity/porn, etc. Should be forced rehab, detox and supervised job help in a halfway house for 3 months, up to 3 years for repeat offenders. 1 year Probation after full release.

At the same time we need to let companies buy and sell with whoever they want, hire however they want, build and trade pretty much however they want, etc.
