cuz u gotta wanna live ur life when u wanna be living somebody else's life because living somebody else's life for them is miserable, and the image in your head never matches up to the reality. maybe you are seething over what they have, and you don't, but really, it was always up to you to decide to go out and get what you wanted. if you were too afraid to, then that is something you must also overcome. there is no reason to be afraid though, most people like it when they see somebody being authentic because they struggle themselves, and the ones who don't, are just insecure and afraid of what others think. if you are afraid of what others think, that's fine, school disciplined you into being obedient to the teacher to receive high marks, and not sticking out to avoid bullying, but now this brainwashing is preventing you from enjoying your adult life. anyways, maybe it makes sense to you, but this is my conceptualization of maturity, or what is confused with le "path to enlightenment" because i believe that enlightenment is unconditional to our human condition, while maturity is.
