Why is /pol/ so hesitant to even consider the possibility of flat earth despite the mountains of evidence and the appearance of globehead shills as soon as it is mentioned?

Is it simply too big of a red pill for most of /pol/ to handle?

This is politics because it is the governments and top elites of the world lying about the very shape of our world.
