The problem that I notice for most men is not necessarily that they cant find any woman, its that their expectations don't often match up to reality. What I mean is this - the low tier guys I see walking around at malls are making compromises. Maybe their girl is very ugly, or maybe she has kids from another relationship and a baby daddy in the picture, or maybe she has a very high bodycount, or maybe she used to be a former addict, or maybe shes broke and doesn't want to work, or maybe shes bipolar/BPD/other mental illness, or maybe even all of the above.
The problem is that a lot of women running around are damaged goods and that no decent, moral, hardworking guy wants to sacrifice for that. That's not their idea of a good relationship.
I'm lucky enough to be married to a woman whose virginity I took when she was 18, but I'm also a tall, handsome and successful guy. If I had to settle for the average woman, I think I would rather remain single. By being married, I make a lot of sacrifices. For starters, I can't just fuck other women whenever I want, and I need to take on lots of expenses and responsibilities with regard to child rearing (instead of just knocking women up like a nigger). I also need to sacrifice a lot of my hobbies and interests that my wife doesn't partake in. Don't get me wrong, I love my wife and being married, but thats only because I got lucky - there is no way that I would sacrifice my time, money, hobbies and free access to pussy for just an average woman. Its better to just be single for me.
