In fact, earlier in the Spring, I stood at the end of my driveway and watched a tornado pass two miles north of my neighborhood from West to East. I get it, you foreigners see some crazy shit on TV and think that every house in the American Midwest has to be rebuilt every year. The reality is, tornadoes, while somewhat common, are usually quite small, highly localized events. The odds that your house will be hit by one are vanishingly small even in the middle of Tornado Alley.
