All of this was during the mid 90s. I was born in 1993.
Drawing a house in MS Paint on windows 95 during computer lab class.
Playing Wolf3D, Dave, Prince of Persia, and Doom without getting caught by the lab assistant who didn't really care.
I moved houses in 2000. My new school didn't have a computer lab. So, my parents made me join private computer classes. I remember playing Captain Claw there. Later my father bought our first PC a used Pentium III, with windows 98. AOE2, NFS3, and other games I remember playing on it.
My aunt worked in Singapore around the same time and she bought a PS1 when she came here, we played Disney's Tarzan, NFS3, Dino Crisis, Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone.
Both my aunt and my father agree now that encouraging me to play video games at that young age was a horrible mistake and that they should have beaten me when I asked them to let me play games on it. I bought a Steam Deck this year and when I showed it to my father he congratulated me but told me to grow up and stop playing games still.
