Not everyone has your intentions in mind, I've thought about this a lot and have spent time looking for answers or understanding. What often comes up is that most people are just brainwashed, the human capacity to follow in line and obey authority no matter how contemptuous or questionable it may be is quite astounding.
You are left wondering why so many people will simply follow in line and conform. You are left wondering if they even know what conditions they are accepting, if it's mutual and consensual.
It'd hard to say if it goes beyond that, understanding the relations of class in all it's forms goes a long way in understanding power structures and how so,many attempts to subvert, and coalesce are actually quite common and endemic in our society and waking life.
The closer you look the broader a picture you get as you are left really questioning the moral framework of the surrounding populous around you.
But it's considered almost taboo or wrong by many though it's never brought up or mentioned, but it's considered wrong to question the meaning and motives or moral worth of those around you too deeply, it starts to become imagined as being too 'pointed'or sharp I guess.
But no I dont think many people have others best interests in mind but it's hard to know how conscious of they are, it's easier to simply see them as acting out programs instilled in them.
