How do I go about moving to Switzerland?
I have a BA in Law and Business with a concentration in law and I'm in the middle of a masters in finance. My grades have been flawless and I know a little German (willing to learn more).
I'm also a dual Irish-American citizen if that means anything.
I need to move to this place, it is the last hope of western civilisation.

Glad you are making the right moves. I'm not very knowledgeable on this subject, but what I have heard from some expat friends is that it can take quite a while to get all the necessary permits and shit. It is very helpful for you if you interview first because then if the company decides to take you on they will most likely take care of some of the paperwork and make sure everything that is required is completed. Although interviewing for a Swiss company before you move will take longer than if you already live here because there are a few extra steps they have to take to make sure you are more qualified for your position than any other Swiss. I am not explaining that quite right so if you want me to expand on that point I can. I probably didn't cover what you wanted me to but I'll try to answer any specific questions you have.

The two main languages are German and French, I guess there a a few areas in the South where Italian is more commonplace, but it is mostly German and French. German is spoken on the east side and French on the West side, think about it as,"this part is closer to Germany so they will speak mostly German", that should work for most areas in CHeeseland. But now that I think about it you should not have to worry about that unless you want to really assimilate, which I would recommend even though it will take more work, because the level of work you would get into with your qualifications should mostly be done in English. It is also vital to note that if you want to fully integrate, you would need to learn High German in some sort of program, some companies will set you up with classes, but most residents speak Swiss German which is very different from High German. I don't know how well I answered your question so here is a boiled down version: It depends on where you end up. If you are close to Geneva, or any other city closer to France than Germany, odds are you will need to know French. If not then you will need to know German. Italian is not as common so it is a very low chance you would need to learn it.

It's funny if you ask Americans about moving there they say "fuck off we're full" yet if I was them I'd be pleading for European immigrants. Your country is just fine and you're being very helpful, I respect that.
