male pattern baldness is mainly due to testosterone(specifically dihydro-testosterone, DHT). DHT kills the more sensitive hair follicle cells at the top of your head.
once your hair follicles die, then that's it. Irreversible. You need to get hair transplants. But even if they're significantly weakened(just looks like tiny and thin baby hairs to the human eye) then minoxidil/finasteride WILL work to reverse it.
for some men minoxidil doesnt work as well, finasteride is a much more agressive alternative. But i recomend you only apply it as a localised solution/foam/cream.
rosemary oil also works but is def weaker than the others. Never use the pure oil, dilute it in a solution(there are many guides)
The chuds who think the cream will mess up your hormones are wildly and insanely wrong.
Its too localised and cant spread to the rest of your body when its already fighting the testosterone in your scalp.
But i STRONGLY discourage the use of oral finasteride for male hair loss. Then it'll def throw your bodily hormones out of whack.
If minoxidil works on your hair, then so will finasteride. Its your preference which of the two you want, but generally minoxidil is much easier to get.
Ive never heard of people using both at the same time, so ask a doc i guess.
theres a lot of fake minoxidil knockoffs, CHECK THE REVIEWS. Regaine is more expensive, but kirkland minoxidil is a solid alternative(and much cheaper), but make sure its not a fake.
if you're genuinely determined to save your hair, the most solid routine ive seen is:
- minoxidil 5% twice a day
- rosemary oil solution(usualy diluted in jojoba oil) 3 times a day.
it helps to take minerals and vitamin b/d supplements. If your diet already has plenty then you can ignore this.
>Look into chlorine dioxide.if you're gonna make a up chemical compound at least make it plausable.
