Also the technical difference is
Autosage or Anchoring, no posts will bump the thread but it is still not at the number of posts to reach the bump limit, causing the thread to fall off the catalog. Anchoring usually refers to having a moderator or admin do this manually to your thread rather than banning you for your thread.
Bump Limit, the thread has exceeded the number of posts that can bump it back to page 1, causing the thread to fall off the catalog.

Autosaging is just not having your thread be able to bumped, while not being at the bump limit.
