though i guess my "dark place" is sometimes i get upset, and instead of doing positive things, i lurk old 4chan archives of times people yelled at me, and think back to times irl where people treated me in unfair ways, and use it to channel rampant shitposting where i basically just regurgitate the abuse ive felt onto other people online (usually just on 4chan since its the easiest medium and has basically no consequences)

What you're doing OP, is probably a healthy coping mechanism, similar to 'invoking' a spirit animal to handle situations.

You would probably benefit from some therapy, not for the person in your head, but for combat fatigue or PTSD.
