Was browsing through my steam library when I noticed this absolute irredeemable "video game".

Wow. This is probably the worst "game" I've ever played.

My computer died and I have a loaner laptop. It has a graphics card but its a quadro which I guess is some sort of business oriented card not a gamer one. Its dogshit. So it barely plays old games. This is one it plays. I fired it up like a week ago, yea absolute irredeemable garbage at this point. Maybe if you had it in high def on a big screen with at least a controller. Still a retarded ass game, go 2 inches past the turnoff because the gps is garbage and you have to divert 3 hours to another city across the country. Some retarded headlight fine that keeps happening in the day if theyre on or off. Piss on it.

A version of this game that is actually good is mud runner, snow runner, expeditions. It's driving with trucks, but offroad so it's very challenging.

Not materially more realistic than the base game. The addons do give more variety to things like traffic signals, vehicles and sights to see in different countries.
More variety than American Truck Simulator.

i pirated it and played for a few hours.
its good for knowing basics on how to operate trucks and i went and got my CDL a few months later.
The business I work for needed a new backup cdl driver at the time and i figured why not.
Gives me more variety at work at least.

You have to play in VR with a race wheel with full manual and at least a 6 gear shifter. Then it's easy and fun to abide by all the traffic laws and not plow through everything
And have all the DLC to explore the whole western side of the US

It's pretty cool then
