The reason that it's not gnostic shit is because the Jew reading works with the first film alone. To see it otherwise, you need the second and third movies, which twist the story slightly because otherwise it would be too on the nose, although the Architect's saying that there have been many Matrixes can be read as alluding to the 110 expulsions of the Jews, when people noticed before hand and they moved, as when the other Matrixes failed.
