On a different note, my parents visited today, and had a great time playing mini golf with them... I must have hugged my dad at least five times today because I’ve missed him so much. It struck me how I sometimes felt distant, despite being in his presence so often back in the past. It made me realize how important those moments where you actively engage and spend time with your family truly are.
