There is a good reason for this question: If you admit the possibility of a sphere appearing to be flat from on or near the surface, then you admit that the only question left is "what diameter is required to make a planet appear flat while on or near the surface?". Well, our planet is obviously more than large enough in diameter. Yes, it really is THAT simple.
By simply being honest (for once in your life) about this question, you completely debunk the flat earth. Amazin!
"But it could still be flat!" Sure but now you have lost your main argument: "Why can't we see the curve?". Now all you have left is to revert to the position of "Well who can tell? It's 50/50, really". The problem is, you have no working model, and the Globe model works with 100% accuracy all day, every day. This means you forfeit. The Earth is a sphere. Deal with it.
