The game is hard as shit as it is even when casting Slow on bosses. I imagine it might be nigh-impossible to beat some of the bosses in this game without casting Slow unless you've purposefully overleveled.

I beat FF4 easily about 19 years ago.
I got it for xMas 2005 and I'd already beaten it EASILY before 2006 even started.

I got the Tiny Bronco after beating the exec in Rocket Town
then I flew to the Temple of the Ancients and quit because I realized FF7 sucks.
I even found Nanaki's father petrified in the Caves of Gi underneath Cosmo Canyon.
FF7's OST sucks compared to FF6 and even FF4.
Fighting Calcabrina in King Giott's hall is the highlight of FF4.
The Lunar Whale sucks compared to the Blackjack and the Falcon.
You're probably onto something saying Dragon Quest is a way better series than FF.
