The one based on the scape-goat ritual, the creation of divisions, distinctions whose lines are drawn through sacrificial acts. He attempted to do this by drawing everyone's attention toward him, becoming the scape-goat, and throwing himself into the machine of sacrifice. The prestige of this magician's trick was the empty tomb. It was to say, "See, I give you no corpse, no body to worship. Turn from superstition and take care of each other."
Of course, this failed, and we see that the rituals continue. Also, the Christ wasn't necessarily a real man. If he was real, then the writers took a real event and superimposed a story over it. If not that, then it was pure story. That is not to say it is meaningless. The lesson is a very important one. Unfortunately it is lost on most people, who wish only to argue over whether or not Jesus was real. Atheists and the religious both miss the point.
