The present just kind of sucks a lot of the time. Its mostly the weather though. The climate this time of the year this part of europe is as depressing as it can get. Real dystopian shit. But i understand you. when the weather is miserable and you're forced to confront it it's hard not to be downtrodden.
Do try and find some joy in the moment though, even if that seems illogical or hard. Rember that such weather is not eternal but only temporary. If allowed and given the chance, just observe, look at the world. see how the world rests and weather flops down like a blanket over the land. take it in. it might be awful, but could be beautiful as well.
