I guess if you feel like you need someone in your life you should take your time with it, so that it will be the right person for you...
only acting out of emotional desperation and taking the first best person is rarely the right thing to do...
also if you are emotional unstable it can be hard to maintain any relationship.. I am not saying don't be inauthentic I am more saying, try to understand that some people can feel overwhelmed or helpless with intense emotional display..
now it's always good to be at peace with yourself, you could see it as working towards being a better person for your future partner, like a long term project you can start immediately.
maybe you have some trauma related to your upbringing you want to work on (easier said than done), but it's always worth thinking about that and how it may effect a person today
i was feeling alone yesterday, but I think it was just chocolate + sugar withdrawal.
i think it is good to look a bit at diet, vitamin D can help a lot if you don't get enough sun.
Also high sugar food and other bad habits can burn out dopamin receptors, which makes people lethargic and hopeless.
So focus on health and diet first, then improve bad habits, these things have helped me a lot.
